11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Green butterfly cuff on: March 29, 2012 04:08:14 PM
This is my ear cuff I made with AmeilaLune's tutorial:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=367748.0

I really like it and can't wait to show it off! I saw ear cuffs at the renaissance fair a few weeks ago running about 50$ each. Plus I hated them all! I love this one and am very proud of making it! Yay for saving money!

Thanks for looking! Grin
12  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Mustache Necklace! on: March 21, 2012 04:00:59 PM
Hello! I made this necklace for my best friend (since kindergarten) Kelly. She is turning 13 the 25th!
I made her a bag (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=405945.0), this necklace, and nerdy glasses with a mustache hanging below. I used polymer clay and nail polish. Fun combo right?
On the front I used the nail polish and on the back i just marbled different shades of brown. If you would like a tutorial I would love to make one! Just say so! soooo enjoy!

Hope she likes it! Wink

I made this Bag for my best friend, Kelly. She is turning 13 on the 25th!
I got her a mustache theme gift with a mustache necklace (I posted on craftster),this bag
and cute nerd glasses with a mustache hanging below it. Well I made this bag with brown felt
(two of the mustaches have textured felt) and cute red buttons! I used this also as an example when
I taught my friend how to embroider herself! Cheesy  Sooo enjoy!

My pattern from online:

Hope she likes it!  Wink
14  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Matyroshka Doll on: March 10, 2012 08:36:16 AM
This is my Matyroshka doll from my "Sewing Calendar 2012."
My aunt gave the calendar to me for Christmas in 2010.
I had extra time after my S.A.T.S and made it then.
It's 4 1/2 in. tall.

This is my first time doing a felt embroidery!
I used my rescue beagle, Carter, as my inspiration!
To make this I used LimeRiot's tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=382551.0
I hope you like it!

This is my helpful picture I found online that looks exactly like my puppy:

18  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Polymer Clay and ceramics? on: March 03, 2012 10:19:56 AM
Hello!

I had an idea about making some clay beads but, with polymer clay.
I figured I could go through the whole process (on the bead itself) with glazing and firing.
But after the process is done, I wanted to take some polymer clay and make flowers or anything really
and attach them to the bead.

Because obviously the (clay) bead will not be destroyed on an microwave oven I figured this could work.
But now that I think about it more, do you think the polymer clay will stick to glazed and fired bead or not?

Thanks!
Love some feedback! :3

20  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / age rquirements? on: March 02, 2012 07:58:20 PM
It came to my attention that only a certain age group (18+) can mainly swap.
In the rules, it says ANYONE one can swap with crafty packages, matching the theme.
I understand some swaps are for everyone and every age but, how do we KNOW
that people are not going to be upset with peoples ages?

thanks!
love some feedback!
