1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / sewing substitutes on: October 29, 2013 06:29:52 PM
so last Christmas my awesome boyfriend bought me a new sewing machine and I am loving it. I've sewn everything around this place and then some. I was cleaning out our closet and seen that we had those lovely bedskirts from our comforter sets. We never use these ever and I decided since I used old pillowcases and sheet sets for different projects, why not use the bedskirts as well? so I went to work separating the part that hangs down, "the skirt", from that white material that sits under the mattress. my question is what is the white material and could I use it as a substitute for interfacing?
