This swap looks so fun!  I've had to limit myself to really cool swaps only, and I think this one fits perfectly!

It's a beautiful quilt, but I get how wrinkles can make ya sad.  I've ripped out entire quilts because of wrinkles.  The trick is to get all the layers really really flat and pin them a ton.  We use a technique with rectangular table and binder clips.

It's actually funny that you posted this, I was pinning tonight with my mom and said, "Wait, I want to take pictures and write a tutorial."  Then I saw your post and thought it was fate.

I'm having fun taking my pictures.  It snowed 6 inches last night/this morning.  Which is rare even for Northern California.  Weird weather!

I'm taking a class tomorrow with a noted local photographer who is taking us around the area to locations he's picked.  Should get all my pics done for the swap at least!  Hope everyone else is having fun!

Alright, here are pictures!  I'll be perfectly honest, the Highland fudge didn't make it into the shot because my fiance has a huge sweet tooth and we went through half the bag.  So so yummy.

The bag itself:

I love the color.  I thought it blended well with our green couches.  Pink is my fav color and I LOVE pink and green together.  I totally had a list of the top things I wanted in this swap and this was one of them.  I love totes, they are so easy to throw stuff in and head out the door and I didn't have one this size (some of the bigger totes are overkill, I'm sure I'll use this constantly!)

I recieved the bag and headband today from BoyceMachine.  I also got some great goodies from Scotland!  I'm going to post pictures later tonight, but the Highland fudge was already broken into by my fiance, lol.  I love all the stickers, postcards and extras.  It's fun to have stuff from halfway across the world.

I'm excited to get started.  I kinda feel like I'm getting it easy though because I'm doing digital and my partner is doing film  .  It should be fun to see what everyone else takes.

Signups sent.  I'm excited for this since craftster is one place I haven't shown my photography (which is kinda weird now that I think about it, because it's something I spend a lot of time doing).  I'm really excited to see everyone else work as well!

Me too.  Stalking was easier than I thought it would be... but not by much!!  I tried to update my profile so I'm easier to stalk (without giving it away!) haha.  Now what extra goodies to send...?

Oh, and I vote PINK because it's my favorite color, but I would love the other too, it was a hard choice.  Those are freaking fab!
