1  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Bow down before Princess Bubbles on: November 09, 2005 08:39:24 PM
Doesn't every cat act like they're wearing a tiara anyway?
http://www.soundbrewer.com/Megan/princess_bubbles.jpg
The haughty look comes with or without the tiara.

Mini Tutorial
Blue=memory wire
Red=20 gauge wire
Green=large bead
http://www.soundbrewer.com/Megan/tiara.gif
1.  Cut a piece of memory wire to fit your cat and put a loop on one end.
2.  Cut a piece of 20 gauge wire and connect one end of it to the memory wire.
3.  String pearls on the 20 gauge wire and a large bead on the memory wire.
4.  Twist the 20 gauge wire around the memory wire to make your first "bump."
5.  Repeat steps 3 & 4 two more times to make two more "bumps."
6.  Put a loop at the other end of the memory wire and you're done!
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Stewie on: August 02, 2005 01:14:40 PM
This is a felt Stewie I made for my husband for his birthday.  He is about 5-6 inches tall and stands on his own (I put pennies in his feet).  I pretty happy with how it turned out, but it took me forever....

3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Embroidered Boxers on: August 02, 2005 01:05:08 PM
Here are some embroidered boxers I made for my husband for his birthday.  I just bought plain white cotten boxers and drew the designs on them with pencil and then embroidered over them.

Here are some pics.

4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Even Birds Fall in Love T-shirt on: May 31, 2005 09:03:46 PM
So, this is the fourth t-shirt I've stenciled, but the first one worthy of posting.  I get really frustrated when looking for t-shirts because I don't like plain boring ones, but the ones with pictures are just horrible (and often glittery) So, I made the stencil myself and used spray paint on a plain shirt I already had and now it's like a brand new shirt!!!  It has two birds on a branch falling in love on the front and then just the branch on the back.

5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Sorry about your Unfortunate Event on: May 29, 2005 07:33:01 PM
My Dad is having surgery this week.  It's nothing really major, but surgery is never really fun.  So, I wanted to make him something to cheer him up.  We both read the Lemony Snicket books and love them so, I made him a "Sorry for your Unfortunate Event" gift pack.

The picture is kind of hard to see so, I'll tell you what you're looking at.  The book is a hollow book and inside it is a book thong.  There is a notepad and pen (the notepad says "An Unfortunate Message from Brad")  and some magnets of Count Olaf and the Baudelaires.   The t-shirt is stenciled with the word "Cakesniffer"  an insult my dad and I like to throw at each other.  The black thing is just something to hang on the wall that says "Your days are numbered" and of course, an incredibly deadly viper.  The bag and card design are from Lemony Snicket's unauthorized autobiography which has a fake cover about pony parties, so nobody will read it.  Anyway, I just wanted to share and any comments are welcome.
6  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Little Blue Monster on: May 05, 2005 07:34:46 PM
I was inspired by all the cool felt creatures on this site.  So, my nephew is having his 1st birthday this weekend and I thought he needed a little blue monster.  Maybe I'll make him one each year for his birthday.... Anyway, just wanted to share, comments welcomed.

7  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Hershey Kisses wrappers????? on: May 01, 2005 07:38:44 PM
I was sitting here having my daily chocolate fix and wondered what I could do with the little bits of foil Hershey Kisses are wrapped in or even the little white tags stuck in the wrappers.  Any ideas would be welcomed......Thanks in advance.
8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Mother's Day / Easy Mother's Day Vase and Candle Holders With Flowers on: May 01, 2005 05:33:24 PM
This is the first project I've posted.  It is a gift for Mother's Day and it is really simple.  It is just a plain vase and candle holders with ribbon around the base.  The vase also has little flowers painted on it (which are hard to see in the picture) with window etch paint.  The flowers are tissue paper flowers that I found a tutorial for here on Craftster.  Anyway, I think it makes a pretty little set.
