2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Link from Nintendo game zelda on: November 01, 2012 11:10:57 AM
All my boys love Nintendo so I homemade all their costumes this year. I got the most compliments on Link so ill enter my 4y/o best costume. He did practically wear it out before the holiday was even close. In the game links grandma makes it for him so its perfect that its supposed to "look" homemade! I used a larger green shirt and cut the neckline and sewed a brown hem to it and I bought a cheap used belt to put around his waist. And another old belt for the sword on his back. A cut price of cardboard wrappe in duct tape and clear taped emblems on them. I used the extra fabric from the shirt for the cap. Bits of brown fabric for the boots and fingerless gloves. And an old white t shirt for the pants. And of course we need Navi his helpful fairy I used a plastic golf ball painted with sparkle glue and paper wings lamented with clear tape and sparkle glue tied to a wire and stuk in back of sword holder. Oh an also we had a foam sword laying around and I put the triforce on it myself. I hope you all enjoy!!!!!
