I sometimes go to ftp://www.yarn.com  for buying needles. When you get there just click on "knitting" and you'll find lots of sizes. Another place you might consider is ebay. Although it might be a pain looking thru all he auctions, you can find some really cheap knitting needles that have never even been taken out of their origanal packing. But if your like me, it might not be worth the time bidding. Either way, it's worth a try.

7  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / "Turn"ing on: January 26, 2004 05:02:55 PM
I'm knitting this hat (for those of you who have Stitch 'n Bitch, it is the "Adults-only devil hat on pg. 166) that is knit on 3 needles in the round. While working on it, I came along to a part in the pattern that says to "turn". But it doesn't say what to turn... it just says "turn". Accually, it says to do this quite a few times so I'm guessing it's important. Is this something that has to do with the fact that it is knit in the round?? I've asked around and so far everyone is puzzeld, including myself. If anyone of more knitting experience knows what they mean, I'd be grateful.

*breezy*

Does anyone know of a really cool pattern for knitting legwarmers?? I've tried to make a pattern myself, but I guess I'm not all that great of a pattern-maker-uper!  Wink
