So, I didn't realize I had Halloween plans until a week ago. I wanted something easy- so I thought toga. I didn't know what to do with my hair, so I thought I might get a wig. A long blonde wig, so I could be Aphrodite. Then I kept thinking and thinking and AFROdite came to me. And that meant I didn't have to buy a wig, just borrow the afro from my couisn. Aha! So I went to Joanns and bought some pink faux satin (which is just the worst to work with) and gold ribbon and gold paint and some ivy stems at the Dollar Tree. And I used a clutch I made from this tutorial
but never really did anything with.
Here are some leaves in the painting process
I loosely used the infinity dress tutorial
to make the toga. I glued some leaves onto bobby pins to stick in the afro (because no crown of leaves was gonna stick in that 'do) and I glued more leaves onto the clutch for a Grecian clutch. I used a silver sequined belt that I tied around my waist and some sandles that I got from an Express sale to finish the look. The gold glitter on my eyelids make my eyes glow like the ghost from Ghostbusters II.
I didn't realize how short it was until I was getting ready for the party I was attending. I put on some black leggings not long after this photo.
I hope everybody had a great Halloween! Thanks for looking!!
