1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / New technique on: October 29, 2013 08:00:00 AM

i'm not sure if this is allowed or in the right place so remove if it's in the wrong place.
For a class I'm looking for a new technique to learn and to teach to the rest of my group. I'm looking for something that isn't to difficult (but still a little challenging) and isn't to expensive (i study remedial science and we'd like to be able to use these techniques in therapy so the budget can be small). I haven't got many ideas so i thought why not ask craftster?
Does anybody have an idea?

2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My first Poppets :D on: October 25, 2012 01:42:10 AM
For the true blood swap I decided to make an Alcide poppet for my partner. I had never made a poppet (or any doll really) before that so first I made a trialversion. The poppet had a lot of mistakes: he was crooked and barely had any fingers. That's when Fonske the Zombie was born Smiley
Here he is:

I ruined my own fingers on that jeans Wink
Then finally I made Alcide, he's not perfect but I like him:

And then a friend who'd seen the other two poppets wanted one too, so I made my first little lady:

4  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Mad hatter hat on: March 11, 2012 12:19:11 PM
I made this for a project at school.
It was for playing the mad hatter in a quiz, which is why the hat says 14/8 instead of the usual 10/6, it was the date of said quiz.

sorry for the bad picture
5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / paper project on: March 11, 2012 12:15:26 PM
I made this to represent how I'm feeling at the moment.
