1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Lame Sampler-style bookmark...Have to start SOMEwhere... on: January 08, 2008 12:36:22 AM
I am "totally" digging all the encouragement. Wink

Thanks! It IS harder than it looks, something I tell my non-crafting/ non-sewing/non-knitting friends all the time! lol
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: *UPDATE* Wonder Woman Jumper- *Now with tute* on: January 07, 2008 10:32:49 AM
I just hurt my broken thumb in my eagerness to type how awesome I find this! lol

I love Wonder Woman, and I love this sweater! Great job!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Another Domiknitrix Mohawk Hat on: January 07, 2008 10:19:24 AM
Good job. I had such trouble with her instructions, but I'm glad I stuck it out. The results are certainly worth it.

I used Lion Wool-ease Chunky, as it was the only thing available, but the 2-ply wasn't TOO bad... it only made me want to pull out my hair every 2nd row or so. Smiley
4  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: white kittyville hat -- a bit image-y. My 1st knitted in round project :) on: January 07, 2008 12:33:33 AM
Thanks a lot! I was ridiculously proud of this hat. I made all of my students praise it. Smiley

P.S. Don't worry - I'm not warping young kids with my need for ego stroking - I'm a college tutor! lol
5  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: A Colorado-ready version of the SnBN Earwarmer. Image happy. on: January 07, 2008 12:32:10 AM
Thanks! lol "classy" Awesome.

I have gotten really into these things...I'm currently making 2 more, both incorporating the kitty ears from the Kittyville hat onto the headwarmers.

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Yellow Rosey Jumper. [[w/ tutorial! page 3.]] on: January 04, 2008 01:40:44 PM

I LOVE the fabric and the buttons! Great choice.
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: detachable mohawk on: January 04, 2008 01:39:46 PM
This almost makes me want to have children. Almost. lol I think I'll just settle for making fun things for FRIENDS' babies. Smiley

So cute! You did a good job. I love the pink fluff.
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: My tutu on: January 04, 2008 01:38:07 PM
This rocks! I love tutus, and I love the colours you used in yours!

I made a hot pink tutu, but I don't quite have the chutzpah to walk around without anything under it. Go, you!
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Something a little fishy... on: December 31, 2007 12:30:18 PM
WOW! When I bought this book, my Taurus mind immediately discounted that I would ever make such an impractical pattern, but now I realise, who needs practicality! lol It's gorgeous. I forgot the cardinal rule of making stuff (for myself, anyway) - You don't make stuff because it's practical, or useful, but for the pure joy in creating.

But all the same, I think I'll just enjoy your efforts, and concentrate my own on the Naughty Needles' garter belt. Smiley

Awesome job.
