Did anyone watch this?  I was envious of Laura's bolero sweater thing-a-ma-jing.  Anyone have ideas on making it?  It isn't knitted and is tied in the middle... I heart it mucho!

Anyone made a fake coonskin cap? I found one knitting pattern, but it might be pushing my luck with my paltry knitting skills.  I think that I could sew one, but was looking for ideas on what type of fake fur to use that most resembles a raccoon!  And how would you make that tail???

My best friends are having a baby boy in Aug.  They are big fans of the Mountain Man, fur trader era and are naming their son likewise.  Any ideas of gifts to sew or make for the little tot?  The only thing thus far is a sort of suede coat with the fringe like the used to wear?  Any other brilliant ideas?

Help... I have been scouring this website for hours... A gal I know (friend, not good friend) is having a bday soon.  I don't want to spend over $20 (not cheap, on a budget...) want to make something.  She likes to have people over and entertain, is having a baby asap, has a house and yard...  ideas???
