21  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Knit for Mothers Day 2006 on: May 07, 2006 03:15:58 PM
I just finished up felted oven mitts for the mom and mom-in-law.  They are pretty quick and functional - I had to try them out to see if they really worked!

22  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Simple v-neck sweater vest on: May 04, 2006 02:01:36 PM
This might be a good one - you can do the super easy one or the slightly harder lacy one!  I had a question and she wrote me back really quickly.  I would suggest it!

23  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: kitty pi! on: May 03, 2006 05:36:08 AM
Quickie:  I want to make one with all of my leftover wool.  Would it work with some bulky yarns and others quite sport weighty?
24  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Pet Door Prize Ideas on: May 01, 2006 09:15:11 AM
I have been nominated to make door prizes for a friend's party.  She is raising money for some animal related cause (such a wonderful gal).  I made 2 dog blankets and have to get catnip for some cat sushi.  I wanted a few more cat items and maybe one or two more dog items.  I knit and sew.  I have to send them off in 2 weeks.  Any great ideas???
25  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Spring has Sprung! What are you knitting? on: April 02, 2006 06:09:53 AM
I am making a ton of baby socks as it seems like everyone I know is pregnant!  I have 2 and 1/2 pairs completed and I think that I have to make 2 more.  I need to knit up a hat or something to go along with them, but want something a bit more creative!  I do need to make a good spring tank for myself though after these babies are done...
26  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Knitalong for Jems? on: March 07, 2006 11:02:00 AM
Are there any people out there who think this could be knit in the round?
27  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Clapotis from Knitty on: March 05, 2006 07:30:38 PM
I finished it and love it.  I wore it all night - it goes well with pajamas!  I used 1.75 skeins of Red Heart Luster Sheen in Ocean with size 7 needles.  I did one extra repete of the straight sections, but wish I had done a few more.

Any thoughts from you knitting goddesses on using my massive stash of cotton-ease for Ruby?

I got the pattern and am going to fight through the self defeating thoughts!  I now get to find some suitable yarn!

I love those patterns, but am nervous about them!  I have only knit socks, hats and scarves.  Would I be jumping in over my head?
