I got out my pile of mismatched beads and random jewelry bits & things last night, and... made these earrings! I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, they remind me of something a fortune teller would wear... you know, with a turban, an old shawl, and big rings on every finger.

I found this plastic bag with these beautiful elephants, and I knew I had to do something with it (I'm a slight garbage hoarder). So I got out some of my random plastic bags, fused them between parchment paper, and sewed the pieces together like Frankenstein skin with the zig-zag stitch. This is my first time doing the plastic fusing thing. I'm pretty happy with how it came out! Best part is free purse for me, and I am one cheap lady!





It was so fun and free form! I'd like to make more!

The only thing I have left to do is get a button for it. I couldn't find any that I liked for it in my stash, so I'm gonna keep my eye out til I find the perfect one.

This is my first post. I've been a total lurker for a long time, and you guys totally inspire me all the time!

So I have dreams about polar bears a lot, ever since I was young. So I was pretty excited when I found this wumbo size stone bear charm. Awesomeness!





I have a ton of wooden beads. Then I beaded two of those eye-end pins to hang the bear on, to add a little color and make the bear blend in better. I tried just putting a jump ring in the bear and putting it on the necklace, but it just looked bland.

I don't know, I just love bears. All bears. They are enormous, furry, and eat berries. Did you know that bears LOVE Snickers bars? It's true. So adorable and so scary all at once.
