Here is a necklace and earrings set I made this morning, made with Unakite semi-precious stones and some kind of e-beads.

I love looking at other artists' work as well as online stores for inspiration for patterns, colour combinations, and ideas.  Does anyone have any favorites where I can look - your own or others?  I don't necessarily want to copy ideas exactly, but sometimes you just need a little inspiration from amazing stuff to boost your own creativity.

Awesome!  I love number 8 - is that just done with wire?  I'd love to try out that design, with your permission and advice, of course.

Cool - I missed the part about memory wire!  It's gorgeous and I'm sure she'll love it - and it will definitely be something that she can wear for a long time.  Good idea.

I've made a necklace similar to this just using tigertail beading wire.  I think that SoftFlex wire I've seen advertised would work, too, especially the silver coated one - it would probably look more professional.  The tigertail was just really easy to bend and weave through the beads.

Very cute and simple..but anyone who didn't make jewelry would never know how simple.  They look very impressive.

Yes, I think it's definitely nice enough to give as a gift.  The pictures are really dark though, I wish I could see it better.  What did you use as a clasp and how did you close it off?

This is my first post featuring my work - it has been quite a production to host and upload my photos.

This necklace is the first one I made where I was actually impressed with the results.  It's also one of the only pieces I'll post within the next few days that I wear myself.

Mother of pearl pendant, wire wrapped pendant with pink freshwater pearls on a beaded necklace.
