Unfortunately we can't come up with a good name for her, so could you please help out? The doll sister is called Pauline, so it should fit to that a bit...

9  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Leather Baby and Toddler Shoes on: February 11, 2012 01:59:43 AM
My most recent toddler shoes are ballerina style shoes made according to an e-book by klimperklein

I started out about 2,5 years ago with 4-5 pieces of leather bought on a market in the Netherlands. I originally wanted to sew a handbag from it - alas, what was needed much more urgently were shoes for my daughter. I took the measurements and according to some instructions  I found, I managed my first pair of shoes. Parts of the appliqué were a bit tricky to sew, especially with my old Privileg sewing machine, but my daughter loved her new red leather shoes.

The second pair got a nice appliqué but unfortunately the leather (taken from my mum's old leather trousers) was not ideal for shoes.

So the next pair were made from specially bought leather: a Pippi Longstocking pair:

10  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / reconstructed corduroy trousers for a little girl on: February 05, 2012 09:53:23 AM
+after wrongly posting this in the recycle section of craftsters, I guess I am right  here - still trying to find my way...

I made these trousers for my little daughter from an old pair of trousers of mine, enhanced them with some embroidery and some details of colourful floral corduroy.

there are some more detail pix in my blog: http://minikin-pin.blogspot.com/2012/02/corduroy-memories.html
