11  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: It's a bag... wait no... it's a hat! on: January 23, 2007 01:45:33 PM
"Well, when one has something that one does not know what to do with it is only obvious that one puts the item on one's head."

I live by that philosophy.  Loved your story there, it rocked my socks.  Sweet hat- but its a bummer about your bag.

13  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Because she was cold on: December 31, 2006 10:04:28 AM
Poor kitty baby, allergic to fleas....  How unfortunate!  You are a great owner for making her that sweater.  And it looks so stylish too!  I just have one question.  Does she lick the sweater as she would her fur?  I only ask because I know my cats would try to unravel the yarn... And then my dog would eat it.  I'm revamping my crafting areas to make them pet-proof, and until I'm done animals aren't allowed in those areas.  My dog keeps sneaking skeins of yarn and using them as throw toys.  He has his own toys, he just likes mine better Cheesy.

Those are great! I love the design on them.  You're mom is a lucky parent- mine got a coffee maker... Undecided Grin Smiley  Maybe I'll make these for next year.

16  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Oodles of Owls! on: December 21, 2006 07:32:41 PM
Love the plushie!  I'm typically a fan of anything rainbow, but throw in an Owl or too... Well, lets just say this is an awesome combo.  Wink

And I love how you applied the cables so as to make owls.... I'm a beginning knitter, and it would have taken me eons to come up with a comparable idea.  Very nice.

I remember making those in school, they were so much fun.  I never thought about making them again, but I think my mother would love these as a Christmas gift.  Hmmm.  Merci beaucoup for posting, you've helped me a lot this holiday season.    Smiley

I'm about to do a *Magic Dance* of my own in the middle of the library- in honor of your shirt.  Wish me luck.

I used the same Bowie stencil on a care package I sent my friend last year.  Its beautiful isn't it?  Dance, Bowie, Dance... What do you mean thats not how the song goes?!
