1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / framing photographs for a show... on: July 17, 2005 07:23:49 PM

I have a show coming up really soon, and I have no idea how to frame my pictures. I will not have them framed by a professional, because that's disgustingly expensive for 30 pictures. Any advice would be nice...

Aww, damn, that rhymes!!!

2  Ohio / Ohio: Southwest / Schwinn Restoration in Cincinnati? Northern Kentucky? on: June 25, 2005 11:26:33 AM
I just bought a pretty foxy '76 (ish) Speedster at a yardsale. Does anyone know where I can take it to get restored?

On Main St. downtown (Cincinnati), there is a store called St. Theresa's or something like that... they have the most amazing fabric.

You could make ears from felt and sew them to the hood. You could also make elefant feet-esque shoe covers out of felt. Not that you'd have to use felt, but it's cheap and would look good. Maybe you could carve some tusks out of styrofoam, but I'm not sure how that would look. It you're extra-DIY, use some painted tree branches. Maybe string together some empty toilet paper rolls and cover them with material for the trunk. Definately paint your face! If you're skinny, you could wear extra large clothes and stuff them, since elephants aren't skinny. I'll leave the tail up to you. Shocked Roll Eyes
