1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Lots of old knitting patterns on: March 16, 2012 11:19:13 AM
I have. Been going through my mums patterns and have found lots of old patterns and lots from magazines.

Any ideas if I could sell some patterns and give the ones from magazines to a charity or something, any money I do make will go to a memorial for my mum.

5  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Very small baby clothes and mums scrapbooks on: February 03, 2012 05:15:13 AM
Hi everyone.
I am new here so hope I put this in the right place.

To cut a long story short,my second child very nearly died at birth and was a very small weight I have a huge box of the clothes, the are 3lbs baby size,I really don't want to cut them. Up incase I mess them up,except for the arms of things but really would like to do something with them as a memory.

Also my mum passed away just over a year ago,was very sudden so still in shock really.she had a lot of things in storage and I managed to find her scrapbook for their engagement and wedding but it is falling apart any ideas how I can mend this without spoiling it?

Sorry for the long post.

Xx
