I would have to agree- the more "random", abstract ones are my favorites.

Nice work!

WOW girl, it HAS been a long time!!  I see you have'nt lost your ability to WOW us.

Thanks, Tee  Grin

Love the chicken wire.

ME TOO!!!!  It's from a rubber stamp set sold by Stampington with a bird, eggs, etc.  It was a bit pricey, but I'd had my eye on it for about a year- I just never ordered it.  When I was on vacation I stopped in the Random Arts store in Saluda, NC and splurged on the set (along with a bunch of other fun stuff!)

Usually I find that if your paper is thin, a drier glue is better (Tee's right-glue sticks are good, but there are also some pretty dry pastes, etc. that also work to prevent lumps and bubbles).  If you using something thick (like cardboard, chipboard, etc.) usually a wetter glue applied pretty thick is your best bet.

Man, it's been a while.  Mostly these were experimental- just playing around with the supplies and using up the bits on my desk.

One hint: don't use Tim Holtz Crackle paint on any other shiny paint surface (like the Twinkling H2O's or metallic acrylic paint)- it doesn't really stick unless it's direct to paper.  Otherwise, it's a lovely product.

I'm glad you like it!  I had a couple of false starts with the shell/feather/nest parts.  I kept trying to put some glass bead gel on to make them dimensional/sparkly but the gel kept making the ink smear (I think I've figured out the trick now, but I'll let you know).

Love those last three.  I'm especially fond of the sparkly birdies.

This is the page that Racky sent me:

Thank you!  I love how fun/colorful it is and how you worked in my username.  It's perfect.

That shoe page is too cute, and Crafty_Dame's old fashioned numbers (and little frames) are very cool.

I received my beautiful page from TheBon.

I love the dimensional clock arms, Fleur de Lis, and little heart flourish on the back as well as the very sweet paper she used.  Thank you!!

These last few pages are great!  I love the sewn on birdie (and how he's off center), the little purple guy (he makes me chuckle) and the ocean/ship page is extemely clever and pretty.

Yay for re-purposing!  That's a beautiful page.

I received this super-fun page from Little Green Dragonfly:

Those little guys are so cute!  I just came back from a little mini-vacation where I got to see four different waterfalls (all of them featured in the movie Last of the Mohicans-one of my favorites) so this was perfect.  Thank you!

Heh, I put cranes there and then changed my mind. I knew that whatever direction I went it would be the opposite.  Roll Eyes
I've always wanted to try my hand at origami but I'm thinking this would be the closest I'll get.

They do actually look more like swans...

I have never been a very good paper folder (or cutter for that matter)- something I chalk up to being left handed  Wink.  I really want to learn the cranes, though, because I wanted to make my own mobile with different pretty papers.  It will take a while before my cranes look as nice as Mina Nina's.
