1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Givers and Needers Swap on: July 04, 2015 06:12:13 AM
I could organize in August -- if anyone is ready to run with it before then, please do!
(wondering if texscrapper or Belladune want to run another round....)
Yay!  Cheesy I'm starting a collection box right now!

I am too scatterbrained and technologically unadvanced to organise this, so someone else would have to step in... sorry.  Embarrassed
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Yet Another TM Patch Swap R5 GALLERY on: June 28, 2015 03:57:35 PM
I went away for a long weekend and came back to some great additions to the gallery! I love them all! I think I want to try beadwork on one next time after seeing that beaded Texas!

I received from RovingAnarchist yesterday, but I got busy and didn't post photos. The lighting isn't the best right now, so forgive me:

I couldn't believe it when I saw this patch. Besides being an amazing patch, I have long thought about getting this image tattooed on me because it's one of my favourite Edward Gorey images. Maybe it's a sign...

Look at all of the stitching in the face and scarf:

And if that wasn't enough:

A beautiful sugar skull patch! I bet it took forever to sew all of that detail!

Thank you, RovingAnarchist, for being my swap partner and for making me these great patches!
(Sorry everyone has to crane their necks to look at my patches, but I don't know how to turn these pictures. I took two shots at different angles and tried uploading both of them, but they still show up sideways when I post...)

I recieved from rovinganarchist. My themes were zombies and gore and blood etc, and that's exactly what I got  Smiley

With a name like gala_apples, I would have never expected you to like gory stuff!  Grin

Those patches are really cool! I would have never thought to use doll parts on a patch, now I think I have some ideas for the ziploc bag full (don't ask) of Barbie hands and feet I have...

I can't believe I own this beautiful patch! I can't stop looking at it!!!

Come on, people!!!! Isn't there anyone out there that needs our craft supplies?

I have to ask, what were your themes, meowari? Because those are, indeed, super awesome. (Along with the other great things that have been appearing here!)

I listed a lot, I can't even remember.  Embarrassed
Thistle is always one of my themes, and Edward Gorey's name turns up a lot on my swap theme lists, too.

This gallery is getting good! I totally missed the door and the bird, how awesome! I keep hoarding buttons for god-knows-what, I think I may try making a button bird of my own...

Here are my patches from Ludi:

And my TM patch making kit:

Thank you for my patches, Ludi! I love them!

I wanted to wait until I sent (or at least taped my package closed) to open Ludi's package so I wouldn't get psyched out, and I'm glad I did! Oh, my gosh, what great patches! I took pictures this morning and I will post them as soon as I get home tonight!!!
