Acadian Driftwood, I'm honored to be the recipient of your very first maq!  I hung it up in my craft area/office, and it brings me much joy.   Grin

DaphadillyArt, I love all that crochet goodness.  The mushrooms are adorbs!

Ludi, you never fail to amaze.  I love everything, and I'm particularly in love with the teeny, tiny snail.

Whenindoubtsew, I love the pincushion(?) and those lovely dolls!

Suereal, I love your sculptures!  And whaddaya know, you managed to make something non-creepy!  I love how the fairy wings are seed pod thingies.

Look at all that lovely batik fabric!  I love, love the purse!  Where did you find that fabric?  I actually have an excuse to buy fabric now that I've finally conquered my fear of sewing machines.   Grin

Congratulations for conquering you sewing machine fears! *Round of applause* Grin

I'm so happy you like it!! She was such a beauty and was hard to send away. I also love the quarter for reference picture lol. I like to do close ups to show detail but it does not convey how tiny they are  Smiley Here's a picture I took to show the color better.

So pretty!
Feel free to claim me for this theme as much as you'd like! Ahem,...I wouldn't mind.   Grin

BriannaB, I love those quilt squares!  I've recently been converted to a quilt fan.  It's so amazing to me how you ladies can sew such small pieces of fabric together with such precision.  The few times I've tried sewing anything there was a lot of puckering, warping, and wonkiness going on.
857  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Tiny stitching - more stumpwork flora and fauna [pic heavy!] on: July 06, 2014 05:21:12 PM
Wow, wow, wow, and more wow!!  So much squee worthy stitching, my pinning finger is cramping!  I'm suuuuper impressed with all of these.  Of course you know I love all the buggies the best!  Cheesy  I feel honored that the lovely monarch is mine all mine! Some of my other faves are the dandelion, the tree, the mormon butterfly, and the black lacewing-looking bug with white wings!

Wow! First of all, great stitch work as always.  Secondly, this is such a great idea!  Has a very fine art feel to it, and I want to see more.   Cheesy
859  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: IYP (Invite Your Partner) round 26? on: July 06, 2014 02:58:49 PM
Thinking of joining, if I can find just the right dance partner that is.   Wink

You totally should! I love my gorgeous pillow from last round! <3

Grin That was fun wasn't it!?

If we could have endless partners I would completely say yes La Chapa....lets just say...*pops out one eye, and brings out my best crone finger*, "Your on my LIST little missy!"  *cackles* (oh yeah..cackle's on my list too!)Grin  I can't imagine anyone saying no to your request...besides the really busy folks of course Grin

and while I imagine the orging would be impossibly complicated, I think it would be fun to have a IYP where one could have as many partners as one wants, as long as you only have two at a time.  So, if one finished crafting before the swap even starts, one could ask another person once the package arrives..but I live in a world of chaos and crayons Grin

Fo' sho'! It will happen!  I got on the ball late this round.  Wouldn't even know who to ask this late in the game, so I thought I'd just advertise and see if anyone responded.    Cheesy  If not, then i'm ok waiting until the next round.

If anyone, who's still looking for a partner, is interested in sewing something off of my long list of sewn item wants for me in exchange for a crocheted item of any kind (mostly), just pm me!  We can chat a little and decide if we'd like to dance or not.    Oh, and I am dying to try some more freeform crochet!  I'll be out of town until late Friday, so if I don't answer right away, don't fret.  I'd check in, but I'm going to be at sea!  Woo!
