I agree with Gozer.  That quote in the shadowbox is so perfect that it makes me want to get it tattooed.  Too far?  Perhaps, but I do.   Cool

Does anyone else have anxiety over what they send!?! Everything I sent took the time of at least a medium, and yet the outcome feels so inadequate!!!!

Nervous 😞

I think everyone experiences that!  I've even heard some of the awesomest swappers on Craftster mentioning swap anxiety.  And not to worry, some of us are just obsessively on here, and love to gab; so don't mind me.

Those monsters are adorable and I love the squiggly penguin art, so much character!

blupaisan, so glad you like them!  I thought my first mushroom turned out a tad suggestive, so I made a second so I don't seem like a perv.  Then I decided to send them both anyway!    Wink

Well that's good to know then.  I just wanted to be sure, and I'm sorry if I caused a hiccup of any kind.  I will begin working on my questionnaire tomorrow.   Smiley

I got this card from kwality570 for my artist's choice theme.  She chose the letter G because my last name starts with G.  Now I'm thinking I made need an O from her to go with it so I can frame my initials...ahem, just saying.   Grin

Thanks kwality!  I really do love how the color worked out with the technique you used.  I tend to like muted Earthier tones.

My goodness, that IS huge! He is gorgeous. You did a great job with the colors.  I love those patterns too.  I really, really want the frog one.  Smiley

I made this for our lovely kittykill in the Vintage Halloween Swap last year. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=426691.0#axzz2gOCwqcJT  Her and I both love all the classic Universal Monster movies and well, amigurumi is ma thang, so this is the result!  He was a little fussy to make as I wanted him to be unmistakable.  I'm not sure if I succeeded, but I was pretty happy with the results.  No pattern, just whipped him up.  I was most proud of the fact that I was actually able to give him 'knees' and not just trunks for legs.  Now, I'm hitting myself on the head for not having taken notes as I can't for the life of me remember how I did it. Doh!

some details...

sorry, didn't realize this pic was blurry, but it's supposed to be a detail of his back fin

Thanks for looking!

Ok, so the "made mainly of fabric" part is making me hesitate.  I don't work with fabric very often.  Occasionally it makes its way into a project as an accessory, but I usually resort to other materials as a base.
