That is an epic castle!  I can just imagine a group of seemingly giant birds gathered around it, cracking away at their little seeds.

cackle, thanks for sharing the lovely bat story!  Suereal, I like yours too. Oh, and wendiek, sorry your bats didn't come back.

Hi! I'm Olivia, and this is my very first OWS!  My husband and I have two boys ages 14, and 4, and a lot of my craft requests will be for them.  We live in sunny Southern California, USA with a handful of unusual pets, and a lot of houseplants.  I am allergic to wool and cannot wear anything that has the slightest bit of wool or animal fiber in it, but it's okay to use for crafted items that are not intended to be worn.  Here's my wishlist, and thanks in advance!

For my 4-yr-old boy    It's his birthday this month!
- Felt play food (especially a sandwich making set, and/or fruits and veggies)
- homemade play dough (scented would be awesome!)
- a set of soft juggling balls
- a set of wooden nesting dolls (Dr. Seuss themed, or something like this http://www.pinterest.com/pin/453808099924581358/ would be fun, but I'm open to ideas)
- a set of peg people to live in his wooden castle (something like this http://www.pinterest.com/pin/453808099924475414/  )

For my teenage son (He prefers black t-shirts, navy or grey ok, crew or V neck men's MED)
- Walking Dead T-shirt
- Dr. Who T-shirt
- "I need my Space" T-shirt http://www.pinterest.com/pin/453808099924475173/
- striped Galaxy T-shirt http://www.pinterest.com/pin/453808099924452792/
- wolf wall art any medium , see this board for some examples of stuff he likes http://www.pinterest.com/laachapa/wolf/

- bibbed apron for cooking; some examples pinned here: http://www.pinterest.com/laachapa/gadgets-tools/
- smock or pinafore apron for painting/crafting; some examples pinned here: http://www.pinterest.com/laachapa/gadgets-tools/
- insect embroidery or other needlework (preferably loose so I can frame it)  here's my bug board for inspiration http://www.pinterest.com/laachapa/buggin-out/
- I really want a dotee (I love sorta dark, Naturey themes - think creepy critters, forest spirits and such) http://www.pinterest.com/laachapa/dotees/
- a black, grey, or brown girl T shirt  or tank top with any realistic North American forest animal, insect, tree, or plant screen printed (or other image transfer technique) on it. I prefer V or scoop neck please.  (some general ideas:  toad, bear, bee, beetle, deer, coyote, owl, rabbit, fox, sequoia, redwood, mushroom, etc...) (women's Medium or juniors Large) - I would REALLY love a black T with a gold or copper toad on it!  I've recently pinned some examples here http://www.pinterest.com/laachapa/stuff-to-wear/

So glad you both like your shirts!  I am going to make myself one with that bee on it but maybe add a crown.  I am known as the Queen Bee around my house!

That would look very cute.  You should do it!  BTW, he totally wore it to school today.   Grin

I got my claim package from lindyv and she totally spoiled me!  Not only did she send me two awesome shirts (a bee one for me, and a Dr. Who one for my son,) but she also sent me an item from my supply list, some gorgeous lace trim!  You can't see the detail too much on that ball of lace, but it is gorgeous and looks like crochet!  I love my shirt to pieces, and my son is excited to wear his to school!  Thanks a million lindyv, you rock!
