Thanks! It's about 10x13 cm and would probably fit a cell phone, a lipstick and some money... Am making lots of different designs at the moment. will try to post some more if you want to see..?
I am a felting freak and make blankets, scarves, mittens, hot water bottle covers, cushions, hats etc etc... Once in a while they (the old sweaters) go reeeaally thick and then I make handbags and purses out of them (no need for interfacing!) Here's one I made earlier! Kinda Valentiney come to think of it...
Thanks, comfits! I've noticed you're always really nice to people here! No, no pattern, just making up as go along. I thought it had scope for potential, though. Think I'm going to make another one and add some more features to the face, maybe make an alien with the button 'clasps' as antennas sticking up...
Me again.., thought I'd share the easiest and quickest scarf I've ever made. It's done lengthways with double crochet ( ...I think you call it), to get the stripes to go in that direction. Used a no. 9 hook and some chunky soft wool. What took the longest was the tassels! So even if all you know is one type of stitch (...) you can still create something comfy and useful!
So... this is my first post... I've (re)started crochet lately and am completely addicted. Mostly thanks to the inspiration I've gotten from admiring you people from afar for a few months!! Someone on here mentioned Photobucket (thank you!) so I registered and voila! So easy and so quick and here's my first contribution:
Hi all! have been using and abusing your creativity for months now, so I thought it was time to introduce myself. Made my digi cam (!) cover last night in a mad-craft-attack around midnight... you know the one.. So here it is. With legs, no nose and wonky ears. ETA: it was looking so pathetic I finished it..
