Completely gorgeous - utterly impressive!

Exams make us work when we could be knitting.

I remember a thread being posted last year so wanted to say to any & all of you who've got your results today - hooray for no more compulsary subjects (and compulsary education)! I hope you're all happy with your grades! I know I am!!

4  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Re: Petite Power! on: August 11, 2007 12:50:36 PM
Me again - just to say how useful this would be. On the last lot of clothing I have made I have been having to use much larger seam allowances, and shorten things a lot. A board with a group of people to refer to for advice, alteration tips and so on would be extremely helpful. I am 5'3".

THose are so pretty! I wish I knew how to knit!

Oh! Learn, it's not that difficult. i wouldn't reccoment Twee as a first or second project though, there are various fiddly details.

Hey, check you out in the "Hot new projects" on the homepage! Well done Nushy, these glovelets are darling!  Grin

I know, it's weird! I haven't been on Craftster for so long and everything is suddenly different  Huh

Thank you for all of the compliments. Now, I need you to stop typing and get knitting, okay?  Grin

Thank you again for all of your blush-inducing comments. Black-and-white is my favourite colour combination - startling and elegant and seems to work so well with my complexion.

I have now put the pattern up on my blog, it can be downloaded for free as a .pdf file. See the following link for more information:

If you make them then please can you send me a picture of them? Thanks! (And if you have any questions, just ask.)

My goodness! Thank you for your incredibly encouraging replies! I wasn't really upset or anything by the Knitty rejection. As I think I wrote before, I love them to bits and so it doesn't affect me hugely that Knitty didn't want them. (Though I am so glad that you all do!)

Will post the pattern later today. Thank you so much for your feedback, which is really very overwhelming.

To answer a question, I used Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran - just a bit more than one ball.

Introducing Twee.

Twee is the latest pattern I've made to be rejected from Knitty. (That makes two so far.)

Personally I love them so I'm not upset by it! Would love to hear your feedback, and if you want the pattern (i'll put it up for free on my blog if you do).

Ciao!

I'm a member but can't work out how to send an invite, or even if I'm eligible to do so. Can anyone help me out?

(username is nushbush if anyone wants to add me as a pal.)
