Very cute. It looks great with the texture of your hair.
For holidays, you could put beads on the ends of the dangling fringy bits.

HERe's a link to Martha's pattern--it was the first hat I made, and I was satisfied with it. It knits up quickly if you use Jiffy Thick n Quick.

This pattern is supposedly similar to the legendary "one hour hat," that I've never seen. There used to be a thread about that one Completed Projects. Lots of FO pics .

Yes to what Sherry71 says. If you cut through two thicknesses of felt at once, you'll only have to cut twice to get the four pieces you need to make one pr. of mittens.

Man, that is one eco-friendly bag. You should make a bunch of them and sell them--that would help keep more plastic out of landfills.

Here's an extremely simple plan for making felted mittens out of wool sweaters such as you could find around your house or at the thrift store. I love that it is finding a good use to a cast-off item:
