1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Silhouette Portrait not working on: April 18, 2015 07:08:57 AM
Good day all, trying to find some answers so thought I would ask y'all.  I have a portrait I got this past xmas.  Used it last night, worked fine.  This morning (sat) I went to make some tags, pressed the feed paper button and nada.  My portrait won't feed the paper or do anything.  I have turned off and unplugged everything, no lightning last night and it is plugged into a surge protector.  Called silhouette and of course they are closed because it is the weekend and heaven forbid a crafting business be open on the weekend when people craft.  So I sit here with my draggy internet and non working portrait and am very frustrated.
Anybody got any ideas.  My green light on the machine is on so it has power, it just won't respond at all.  If I try to send a file to the unit it just keeps showing syncing.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / My 1st decal projects on: April 11, 2014 05:56:56 AM
This is my 1st test using decals.  I fired the pots to cone 6 glaze with commercial glazes.  Then fired decals on at 06.  Only problem is one bowl had shiny blue/black interior that is now a muddy brown.  Bummer.  Otherwise I like the way they turned out.

3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / My fun with yarn bowls and Totoro on: February 22, 2014 12:57:33 PM
For an exchange over on Reddit I made some Totoro yarn bowls.  Regretfully two ended up with the dreaded S crack and some other defects.  In to much of hurry to allow to dry properly.  Patience is a virtue.

4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Tree Lantern on: July 06, 2013 09:29:21 AM
I'm trying to make lanterns and do cutouts.  I have some small cookie cutters but they fill up with clay that I have to dig out.  Gets old quick.  I love a lot of the work I see that has cut outs so still trying to figure out how to make some interesting lanterns/bowls etc.

5  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Shark Plate on: June 04, 2013 07:37:52 AM
This is my 1st attempt at posting so I hope it works.  I am an amateur potterer so still learning and experimenting.  I have a friend who is a marine biologist and I acquired a shark cookie cutter to make him an ornament for xmas.  Since I had the cookie cutter I made a shark plate, because everyone needs a shark plate, right.  Just a little something to share.
