I love the decals.  Just bought some paper recently and have been playing with it.  Yours look so beautiful.

I like the yarn bowl best.  Big fan of stencils since I can't draw.  Great ideas with the doilies.
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / My 1st decal projects on: April 11, 2014 05:56:56 AM
This is my 1st test using decals.  I fired the pots to cone 6 glaze with commercial glazes.  Then fired decals on at 06.  Only problem is one bowl had shiny blue/black interior that is now a muddy brown.  Bummer.  Otherwise I like the way they turned out.

I love the combination of glass and pottery, such great colors.  I have some glass I plan to play with, as soon as I can find some time, dang that whole work for a living thing.
6  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / My fun with yarn bowls and Totoro on: February 22, 2014 12:57:33 PM
For an exchange over on Reddit I made some Totoro yarn bowls.  Regretfully two ended up with the dreaded S crack and some other defects.  In to much of hurry to allow to dry properly.  Patience is a virtue.

I've seen a lot of yarn bowls lately, yours is lovely.  I plan on trying to make one but I do slab construction, no wheel, boo hoo.  I wonder what dimensions should I try for?

That is so cute.  I love the little baby seahorse.  It is nice to see others have issues and how they turn an "oh @$^%#$" into a wonderful creation.

That's great. What is the inside glaze?
10  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Tree Lantern on: July 06, 2013 09:29:21 AM
I'm trying to make lanterns and do cutouts.  I have some small cookie cutters but they fill up with clay that I have to dig out.  Gets old quick.  I love a lot of the work I see that has cut outs so still trying to figure out how to make some interesting lanterns/bowls etc.
