1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Discussion and Questions / Help with Buying a Kiln on: October 28, 2012 11:41:36 AM
Hello everyone. I am trying to buy a kiln for my boyfriend for Christmas but I don't know much on the topic! I posted a "wanted" ad on Craigslist and got a reply from someone and this is what he said-
"I have a good used kiln for sale. It is a Duncan energy saver
Artist Plus model.I am asking $225 for it."

Are there any questions I should make sure I ask him? I am going to ask for the dimensions. I found a kiln of the same brand online for $200 and the dimensions for it are dia. 10", depth: 12". I would assume that is too small for what my boyfriend needs but is this the size I should expect for the price range of $200-$300? Sorry for my lack of knowledge here! Any tips and advice would be great, thanks!

I was thinking of selling prints on Etsy. And CraftyChef- that sort-of crossed my mind. I was thinking of printing them on fabric and making pillows, but again wasn't sure... just thinking about it. I will definitely check out those websites. Thanks for the help!

Hi everyone. I would love to start selling my artwork but I am having trouble deciding if it would really sell. I obviously like them but I'm not sure if they appeal to a lot of people. What do you guys think, would my artwork sell? Thanks for your help!
