Okay, here's the story: A over the summer it was announced to my marching band that our theme for the show was going to be "Wicked"- after the broadway musical. The show started moving, I was into the music, I bought the soundtrack, read the book- and then it got better! Our band had been selected to play in the Macy's parade in New York, and the directors decided that since we were going to be in NYC anyway...why not see it? These pants were already in the beginnning stages in my mind, so I figured I should make them I wore them around NYC and the the musical when I went. I actually had people stop me in stores so they could take a picture of my rear end. Without any further back story- here are my pants:
Excuse the bad pictures. It's actually quite hard to take pictures of one's own posterior. I set a self-time on one of them. For some reason I didn't think about taking pictures of the pants without me in them.
And I hope this is on the right board- I've never posted clothing before.
This year for the holidays I decided to make everyone something out of duct tape. This is the first one that I've completed and I'm a bit proud of it. It took me a while to cut out the details because I was being a perfectionist.
My school's marching show this year is based off of Wicked. I decided to make a wicked purse and the only material I'm much good at is duct tape. I made the first part of it tonight and I was so psyched that I had to show it to the world. It's made out of duct tape and cereal box (for strength) and I'm soooo proud of it. Sorry for the poor quality of the pic.
This just in...the final product:
This inside is bright green and the strap is bright green on one side, black on the other. I'm so happy about this project. I need to give it some thought on if I want to make another one...
Here's the newest version that I came out with:
That one is based off of my band's show shirt. I hope you ilke them!
