1  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Thermal from Knitty on: August 11, 2007 02:24:06 AM
wow Smiley It looks great. I am always looking for the perfect knitted vest, so this goes in the queue. The colour is very pretty too.
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Geisha Jewlery Box on: July 30, 2007 01:28:55 PM
Wow that is sooo pretty! I love the colours and all the different elements. It looks really professional.

I've just finished reading Memoirs of a Geisha, and I can see how that got you inspired - I love all the detailed descriptions and everything in the book (and of course it helps that I've just been to Kyoto). I'll be watching the movie one of these days.

I love the back of your top (and how the eyelets really emphasize the fact that it's a 'fitted knit'), and the colour is pretty!
There are so many great-looking projects in that book, judging from what I've seen here on Craftster. Luckily, I'm on the waiting list for it at the library!

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Ravelry! Extra invites... on: July 05, 2007 12:59:19 AM
thats weird, i think i put mine in about a month ago. they're doing it by time, right?

That makes me feel better, I actually don't remember when I put my name in, but I think it was the beginning of June and haven't gotten mine yet, maybe time has flown so quickly for xamonster that it only feels like three weeks Smiley

They said on their blog that they are doing it by time, I registered May 31 so I hope they still are...
5  EUROPE / SCANDINAVIAN/NORDIC / Bog: SOS Sy og strik for begyndere, spørgsmål til projekt nr 6; sommertop on: June 28, 2007 06:28:03 AM
Hej skandinavere!

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: ::Bagsket - Tutorial ready:: on: June 27, 2007 09:56:45 AM
I really like it! I'm thinking of making a couple as "WIP-containers" for knitting and sewing projects. The tute seems clear, and I love your fabric choices. I will post mine here when I have made some - don't know exactly when I will have the time though.

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Knitty: Cleaves on: June 17, 2007 10:54:49 AM
It is very pretty! I like the twisted ribbing and the chunky yarn. I am just wondering how this kind of garment is to wear/walk around in - does it slide down your arms when you move?

Wow, that's pretty. I love it in red!  Cheesy I'm going to knit this, I'll just have some a ton of other tings to finish first...  Roll Eyes
