1  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / slightly silly question about older threads.. on: July 31, 2007 10:25:24 PM
i have a bit of a predicament..

lets say there is a project on an older post.. maybe 30 pages back or so. Is it ok to comment on it (thus bumping it back to the front) or would i be better off just sending a pm to the thread starter?

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Pattern Humiliation on: April 22, 2005 01:37:13 PM
Ugh... ok, this is humiliating. I have been crafting since I was tall enough to grab for the glue gun. You think I would have this down.. but nooo. My 'no rules' diy style of crafting has never included directions, especially of this nature...
I wanted to make a purse.. mine shrank or something, I can't even zip it closed anymore. So anyways, I went and purchased fabric, and interfacing and even a pattern!! I get it home, all psyched and ready, cut out my tissue paper pattern, go to lay it out, and suddenly, I'm like a three year old confronted with a calculus problem.  Heres the deal. I purchased Butterick pattern BP174, and have chosen to make purse C. the pattern pieces have places that say "fold line"... what the hell does that mean!!?!? Its not on the edge, so its not like I put the line up against the folded edge of my fabric.. the lines are about an inch down from the top... what do i do? cut out the fabric, and then fold it where it says? I'm so confused... PLEASE.. for the love of my sephora account.. help me. I need this purse!
