1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Hunger Games bracelets on: June 22, 2013 07:48:00 PM
I just read the series (super late) a few weeks ago.. this is great : DD and I'm usually not a charm bracelet person... I really like the splashes (or should I say flashes) of color that the red and orange give.
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Monarch Butterfly Bangle on: June 22, 2013 07:40:07 PM
Wow, it looks beautiful... and it's so smooth, it almost looks like wood or some other material other than clay. I'm sure your next try, if you decided to do another, will look great too with the changes to the black and white parts.
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Cheeky charms (Sweeties/Candy & Guns) on: April 08, 2012 07:06:07 PM
Oooh, the hearts are so cute. I'd definitely wear a bracelet like that : D
The guns are really nicely done too. It looks like they have a lot of detail in them.
4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / OC Super Sculpey figure on: April 05, 2012 08:30:35 PM
I joined Craftster when I got the materials for this 3 months ago.. I finished it last month, but since I got the wrong sandpaper, it didn't get smooth and that ruined my morale so I lazy-finished everything after painting the pants. Tongue

Still, here's my first real super sculpey clay figure. This is Suta, a character of mine. She was supposed to be holding a keytar because she's a keytar playing pop star (of course) but that.. uh.. didn't work out. The hands are too close to the body to fit the keytar in between!

I did the hands and head out of Creative Paperpclay, which I covered in glue decoupage(? or something like that) and then painted with some cheap acrylics. It's not sealed cause I ran out of money for matte finish. Haha :'D

I made a lot of mistakes.. the hands are really messed up and the legs are too long (Suta is only supposed to be 5ft tall full sized) but.. it got finished and now I'm ready to start something new.

The lighting is pretty bad, which doesn't help the face at all.

The picture is smaller here, but if you drag it into the address bar, it should be full sized.. which isn't much bigger.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Ten Second Refashioned Skirt on: April 05, 2012 08:26:11 PM
Woah, when you said 10 second refashion, you weren't kidding! It looks like it works well though. A motorcycle jacket over the top would look so cool : D
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: old laughing vampire dress into a much cuter one on: April 05, 2012 08:24:22 PM
Ooh, it looks like a completely different dress (haha, but that's the point.) I really like the lace going down the front. It goes very well with the velvet.
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Anthro inspired Sweater with Ruffled Shoulder Action on: April 05, 2012 08:16:15 PM
That's crazy.. in a good way. I love things like this where you seriously can't tell that it's  reconstructed or hand made. Also, zippers make most things better.
8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Bowser on: April 05, 2012 08:03:28 PM
It looks so good.. I admire you for finishing such a big project. It really payed off in the end.. especially when people are still saying they love it 6 months later... haha : D
9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Princess Jellyfish Clara on: April 05, 2012 07:57:26 PM
Wow, the proportions are so even and the tapering on the tentacles is just right. You did an amazing job : D
10  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Jellyfish Pendants on: April 05, 2012 07:52:13 PM
Diane gave some really good advice, so I don't have anything to add there. I like how they're a little abstract.. and they're very neat too, for the most part. I bet they'd look cool against a lot of other colored backgrounds.
