1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Shy Guy Amigurumi on: March 17, 2012 08:22:48 PM
*My Second Project*

I couldn't decide what to crochet after I made Leafeon, so I took a request from a friend on Deviant Art. I was supposed to make him around the end of January, but didn't really buckle down until spring break and managed to finish him in three days. I didn't use a pattern for him - for his body I made the biggest circle I could without the thread bunching up, single crocheted until he was a good length, and did a funny combination of increases and decreases to make the bottom look poof-y. I did write down the pattern for the arms and feet - since there were two and i needed to be able to make them identical - but since I don't have a pattern for the rest i feel like posting the arms and legs would be kinda silly.

Posing with one of my drawing books here, He's 8 inches tall, 16 around... way bigger than I had imagined but perfect snuggling size. His belt, eyes, mouth, and underpart is felt, and he's stuffed with poly-fill.

Hope you like him Cheesy

Hello,

This is actually my very first amigurumi, and the second thing i have ever crocheted in my life (my first being a dish cloth which I taught myself the different stitches on).

I didn't see a leafeon amigurumi real sized so I thought to tackle one - I tend to be overly ambitious Cheesy - and it helped my motivation that he's my fav pokemon - I Love him to death. I couldn't write a pattern (don't know how) but I have notes (made only of numbers) which im sure need some type of translation - Sorry. I'll try to learn pattern lingo before my next project so that I can make a pattern to go with it. I hope you like him.
