I absolutely am in love this.  Hand-cut and sanded smooth from an antique sterling silver spoon.






upon trying it on I realized that I couldn't bear to sell it.  so i made another one from its sister spoon.

I'm pretty happy with the results.  What do you guys think?  Feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Inspired by marine biology, this new card features ceratium tripos and ceratium furca, two of the coolest creatures ever to cause red tide.

My latest knitting adventure!  Knitted baby alpaca neckwarmers/scarflets in grassy meadow, dusty rose, and sweet potato.



They look amazing on guys and girls, and are sooooo warm and cozy.  I'd love some feedback, what do you guys think?

So I got my Annie May drop spindle a few days ago from , and I am completely in love.

It's thin and not-so-thin, mostly thin.  It looks a little felted, but I don't really mind at all.  Live and learn!  I like how it came out, considering I wasn't expecting it to be that good on my first try.  I did so much research on using the drop spindle that by the time I actually received it I just picked it up and spun away.  Addiction.  I'd better get more roving before I run out of this stuff (won't take long), or I might have withdrawals.

So, I just got my print gocco hi-mesh b6 set and I am going to town!  I am so in love!

I hand-drew a robot, because I like drawing robots, and after a bit of trial and error, I now I have lovely notecards.
I love how they came out!

I made these today and yesterday.  I love how they came out and am definitely going to experiment with them more.  They look really nice on, and the colors are so amazing, especially in the sun.  It's hard to capture on camera!  The brown ones remind me of chocolate... or a giraffe!  Oh, and yes, they're glazed.  (If you were wondering?)    I'd say they're no doubt the prettiest things I've made.  (Can you tell I'm proud of them?)

first of all, hi!  my name is sarah and i reside in venice, california.  i love all of you craftsters and i'm excited to make my first crafty post, even if it's no big deal!  huzza!

i made these guys out of fimo clay and i think they're quite pretty. i made a cane based on how i make actual maki sushi, and gave the rice some texture with a needle, although you can't see any detail in these pictures, unfortunately!  i apologize for the mediocre photo quality.  let me know what you think!
