5  Angry koala bear in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by BigMamaCrochet on: September 10, 2012 02:03:44 PM
the background is really an intense fuchsia almost purple pink.
My favorite part is that the Koala looks disgruntled.

6  Three of a kind charcoal, graphite and a draft in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by BigMamaCrochet on: September 10, 2012 01:59:48 PM
This is the first draft in graphite

this is the second draft in charcoal
I tend to favor charcoal so i go bold and have a lot of fun with it.

the final draft in graphite
I usually dislike graphite but for the final draft of this i wanted to challenge myself and i really love the end result, however on the graphite the color is darker in real life

10  straight business skirt in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects by BigMamaCrochet on: January 13, 2012 06:40:35 PM
this is a skirt that i made for going to job interviews because i had nothing to wear. really i just winged it because i needed to get it done and look professional but quickly!

front view (sorry all of the pictures are going to be sideways)

this is the side of the skirt

back view (i should have ironed this first but my dog freaks out when i iron)

this is a view of the hem and back slit. the hem is a simple double turn and as you can see it is fully lined, i just tucked the lining into the outside fabric so i didnt have to hem both.
