11  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / new hanging lamp on: February 25, 2012 09:16:28 PM

I have many things in my living room that are Wrought Iron.... So when I saw this hanging planter I thought great lamp shade for my hanging lamp....

The thing is I have wanted to make one after years of this one teasing me I had to find a match

this one I made in the 70's when I was a kid....

I did want to macram the black one but it really didn't look right so I thought I really want fringe... I am going to make fringe Dang nap it!!!

I think I might when I get some monies I will buy some black plastic paint for the light fixture so the white doesn't stand out so much....

13  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions / Tipsy Pots on: February 02, 2012 12:41:26 PM
I know here in Ohio it kinda early to be thinking about starting a garden but I found this http://www.gardensandcrafts.com/tipsypots.html Tipsy Pot idea and thought how great that is for my small backyard...

Even a flower tipsy pot for the front yard...

Maybe where  I had a problem with poison sumac growing in the one corner and I swear I could be wearing gloves, long sleeved shirt, wash with alcohol and still break out so bad from it...  I think I even got a rash if I am outside when someone else pulled it up! We did cover it with salt at the end of summer, the stuff kept coming back!

My pin went crazy... when I pined  this wall art from Michael's I got 250 repins.  I love this look but I am a broke craftster..... I was wondering if this would work with cardboard, not styrofoam
