1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / Re: Wrecked After One Wash on: December 12, 2006 08:30:30 PM
Can I put anothing transfer over a failed transfer?
Well something similar happened to me once and I just did another iron on on a piece of white fabric and then sewed it over the other transfer like a patch. I thought it turned out pretty cool but it depends on if they would like it looking like a patch or what not. Besides that I think you're out of luck.
2  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: New Knitty's Calorimetry on: December 09, 2006 10:15:41 AM
How much yarn did you use? I've got about 3/4ths of a skein I want to use up and this would be the perfect project. Does anyone know the yarn used for the girl wearing it? I like it alot better than the yarn they suggest (the beige).

FYI - some white yarns won't felt, so do a test swatch just to be sure!

Oh, how cute! Both the baby and the dog. I love the little hoodie and that you can see the little "rubberbands" around her wrists, sooooo sooooo cute!

What about some darts in the sides of the waistband so it fits more like sunnyb64 suggested

Your icon is from the best movie EVER! I love it even more than Yellow Sub (which is sadly soooo overdone). My friend and I do Beatles movie marathons, go ebay and cheap movies!
8  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Taking Requests on: June 06, 2005 02:54:02 PM
If you have time could you make a kermit one? I've been trying but GIMP isn't very good for making stencils and I just can't get it to work. Pretty please Grin
9  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: To heat seal or not to heat seal? on: June 06, 2005 11:09:10 AM
I still don't get why everyone goes through all these extra steps cause all I use is acrylic and it works fine.
10  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: acrylic or fabric paint? on: June 06, 2005 11:05:08 AM
Although some people have problems with acrylic I've found it works just fine. I can even put it through the dryer and nothing happens to it. The best way to know is to test it out.
