3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Shiny silver shoes! on: July 27, 2005 09:12:04 PM
I have always wanted to take an old pair of pumps and decorate them and make them pretty.  Smiley  When going through my old dress-up trunk, I found these ugly, brown, kinda beat-up ones.  They looked like this.....

I covered them completely with a silver paint pen and drew on them a little with a permanent marker.  I hot glued on a few small, pink beads and strings of different beads from a cut-up plastic necklace for decoration [the necklace is clearish-pink, although it looks yellow in some of these pictures....sorry].

THE LEFT SHOE

THE RIGHT SHOE......I swear, those beads are not yellow.  Huh

Hope you like them!

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / strawberry iPod case on: July 14, 2005 01:23:30 PM
Hey everyone. This is my first post.  I know everyone says this but I've looked around here loooong enough and now I feel like I should put something up...
This is my simple, one-night iPod case.  I was actually going to leave on a trip the next morning and was afraid that when I put my iPod directly in my suitcase it would get scratched up.  I started with some white felt and what was going to be a really quick, 5-minute, very boring project took my half an hour (ish).
So here it is.  It's all made of felt with a little strawberry button I bought at G Street Fabric and didn't know what to do with......
