i actually made a purse the other day i am very proud of.
i got 4 ties from various thrift stores on adventures and sewed them together. with my very handy (ha) sewing work the ties curved to a side. it made for a very interesting purse.

the picture makes the purse's flap seems crooked, its actually not... however, made for some interesting sewing obstacles. i hate worrying about needles breaking and topstitching thick pieces of fabric. it turned out very nice.
