Nice cables.   Wink  What kind of yarn are you using?  It looks really soft.

So pretty!  I love the colors and the name.
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Cashmerino Super Chunky review? on: May 30, 2007 10:05:03 AM
I made my hubby a simple scarf from this yarn, and it pills terribly.  However, I think the pilling has a lot to do with rubbing against his scratchy face.  It's a dream to knit with and would probably not pill as much if the garment was washed more frequently.  I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that a good wash can help with pilling problems, but I don't know first hand.

Nice job!  I really like the color you chose.
5  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Knit and Tonic's Somewhat Cowl? on: April 20, 2007 04:03:54 PM
OK...so I this is on my to-knit list, but I am not able to find the notes on waist shaping and the changes in the arms.  Is it hidden somewhere on Knit and Tonic's site?  I came across it the other day and now I can't find it.  Please help!
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Best online explanation of circular knitting? on: March 21, 2007 11:53:36 AM
I have the best luck with the Knitting Help site, and I constantly refer to it when I'm knitting.  I also recommend the Domiknitrix book.  She had a good explanation of how to get rid of the tiny hole where the round is joined.

Good Luck!

I'm so glad you like the panta and the calorimetry, Zelda.Suicide.  I am making a calorimetry for myself out of the same yarn.  It's SWS by Patons in natural pink.  Calorimetry seems to be the new panta, and it's a fun knit.

Thanks for the compliment, alwaysinmyroom.  One day I hope to knit a sweater.   Smiley
