I was in the Swedish (nordic?) swap last time, and it was nice to connect a little with other Swedish swappers. And I had a good swapping experience, which was kind of rare.. I actually stopped swapping since I had so many bad experiences, but I'm hoping to start it up again!

Just a heads up: Since you have a couple of negative ratings, you'll probably need to angel to be considered for another swap. If round 3 isn't starting until June you might still have time, but I'd start looking at the angel board just to be sure! Or of course ask the help desk if there's anything wrong with your feedback.

Yup, I'm aware. I just got one mistake cleared up, so just one angeling needed! It's not at easy as I thought to find a spot though.. Any tips?

It's been a while since I swapped, and I really miss it. I remember partaking in a One tiny thing-swap, and it seems like a good way to start up the swapping again!

Is there anyone still interested in a plain old One tiny thing swap?  It would be cool to have a theme like flowers, plants or trees seeing at it's time to start your gardens just about now..

I usually just measure the inside of the bag and make a pattern for the lining that way. There are plenty of patterns under the topic for bags and purses in the tutorial list. Use one of those if you are having difficulties.

Hand stitching the lining is what works best for me. You can make an invisible stitch by hand.

I've been out for a while looking for a pattern for a crochet vest. The ones I've found are the wrong style and none of them appealed to me. I'm a pretty new at crocheting, so making my own pattern isn't really going to happen..

What I'm looking for is a short (waist, or just below the waist) vest. I don't want it to be solid crochet, rather lacy and doily-like. Or it can be solid with lacy details.

I drew a picture of the shape I'm looking for.



Do you know any patterns out there? Online or books; I'm OK with both. I just neeeeed this vest!!  I appreciate all help..

I saw this purse in an ad in Cosmo, and it looks pretty nice, no? The necklaces are really cool too... And the colors! Great for fall.

So how would one make a knock-off? I'm not so good with the different knitting techniques used...
Do you know any pages where different techniques are described?

Do you think the front is made in one piece or are the four pieces sewn (crocheted?) together?

I'm out of handbag-project right now, and I haven't really tried to make any knock-offs. Anyone in on making one of these with me?
