This is FABULOUS! As a fellow Hufflepuff, I am in awe! Love the colors, and this piece is just too special to be hidden under a tree. If I had something like this, it would be hanging front and center (probably over my fireplace!) so that everyone could see it! Some of those patches are extra special and so unique. I am making notes for future TM projects!
thanks! I started a Pride and Prejudice bag for myself over a year ago. I need to make myself finish it. I only have a few patches done. If there were a way to make these things by machine, I'd jump on it. SO much handwork!
I just finished this bag as a Christmas gift. Why do I keep putting so much time and effort into something I don't want to get rid of in the end?!? One of these days, I MUST make one just for me! Sorry, some of the pictures are blurry.
As far as the printing on the fabric.... The family tree and Downton Abbey was printed on the fabric itself with my inkjet printer. The telephone was freezer paper stenciled. The quote and the picture of Lady Mary were iron-on transfers. So many different ways to do things, aren't there?
