1  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Fibi's Crocheted Bitch Britches (doggie diaper) PHOTOS on: January 23, 2007 06:52:22 PM
I just made my new grandbaby (due feb 18) an afghan and had a little yarn left over.  I decided to crochet my lhasa a doggie diaper/bitch britches.  I think they turned out pretty good especially since they were only the second thing I've ever crocheted and I made up the pattern.

2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Need Cross-stitch Book Mark patterns on: January 23, 2006 09:03:06 AM
I was diagnosed with Cancer in October and have received nice cards from several people.  I would like to thank them for their well wishes and know they are readers so I would like to cross-stitch them a bookmark.  However, we recently moved and all my patterns are in storage.  I did a search on the web for free patterns but haven't had much luck yet.  Can anyone point me in a direction?  thanx!  Lisa www.lisaschaos.blog-city.com
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Gel Stain primed 6-panel doors? on: June 07, 2005 10:06:55 PM
Has anyone tried to stain the cheap 6-panel doors?  The are primed and ready for paint so am not sure it's possible to give them a wood look.  I know there are several products out there to help give items a wood appearance, just not sure if they'll work on these doors.  Would love to hear what anyone has done that worked - or that didn't work.  We have some bifolds for a closet that we figure we can try on the inside of so if it doesn't work it won't show.  What do you all think?  Thanx!

4  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Making a door on: April 20, 2005 08:14:06 PM
We are in the process of bulding a house and I would like to find a way to make unique doors.  I've thought about plywood with hardwood flooring on each side of it.  Not sure if it's feasible.  Any ideas?  Also, love the doors with the rounded top.  Thanx for any suggestions. Roll Eyes
