I made a quilt for a friend of mine recently, she was feeling a little blue and out of sorts. So being genius me, I decided she really needed to feel blue but in a good way. So her all blue quilt was born.


I think its funny that my husband calls my pinning of quilts as ADD, though I really think he means OCD.

I used cotton batting for the first time, and didn't preshrink it, so the quilt has that nice "old" feeling and look to it. Very broken in and comfy feeling.

My husband is a metalhead geek. So for him he gets two fun shirts. He really is low on shirts and we're low on money, so buying generic shirts and then decorating them is really a help!

I love Achmed the dead terrorist! He makes my day. Look him up on Youtube if you don't know who I'm talking about. This is a gift for my husband, but I was so excited that I gave it to him early.



it was the first stencil i've ever done, and it turned out relatively well, but there was some crazy bleeding and also I put the picture down too far on the shirt so its a little odd placement. I'm getting better though!

I love this quilt. I'm trying to use some extra fabric I have around (since I have WAAYYYY too much) The backing is a nice soft pale blue. I think the next one I make (since I have enough for another) is going to be flannel backed.

I have been taking pictures of stuff for various projects and at first made a light box out of a plastic tub, poster board, and some fabric. The pictures came out decent, but it was so tiny.

So then I made this guy, out of PVC pipe, velcro, fabric and poster board. There is even a piece of wire across the top so that I can hang things from it with fishing line. I do need to get some brighter lights, since that will reduce the amount of adjusting in photoshop I have to do.



Pretty sweet huh? I LOVE IT!

I made a display frame for my wedding jewelry. I was so proud of it. It was hand made by someone local (where I was living at the time) and was inspired by a friend at the time. the backing is cork behind the fabric and its held up by pins. i also attached the picture frame thingy by gluing some thumbtacks to the back of a plastic magnetic frame.




I LOVE it. Its also right by our bedroom door, so that whenever I walk past it i see it. It makes me go squish .

dude! no way! i totally made a purse and checkbook cover out of that fabric for my sister! i dont have a picture but heres the checkbook cover made from the same fabric. SWEET.
