Awww...  I made that cake a few months ago for my baby's 1st birthday.  One side filled out the pan, the other side shrunk so it still had the features but was much smaller so all of the pictures we took are of the side view.  I bet your cake tasted yummy- & I'd much rather have a tasty cake than a pretty one.

Sometimes my projects twist a bit, but it straightens out as it gets bigger.  Have you completed a scarf & it's still twisted?  Usually after a few inches mine flattens.  Sorry I can't be more help.  Good luck.

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: is it hard to learn how to crochet? please help! on: July 05, 2005 01:32:36 PM
It's not hard to learn.  I got the Boye I taught myself to crochet kit from walmart.  COmes with everything you need to get started except yarn.  I learned a stitch a day, no prob.  I haven't made any stuffed animals yet, but I have learned that some patterns are just easier to understand than others. And if you get stuck, there are plenty of helpful people on the boards here.  Good luck!

Or did this happen b/c the paint specifically says do not use fabric softener on the garment & my S/O did?

Any help on how to "fix (improve)" it?

I finally made the boondock saints shirt on here.  The front turned out fine- little bit of bleeding but not much.
The back looks awful!  The text that I painstakingly cut out for hours & then re-did it anyways, bled horribly!!!!  So the question is....... Did this happen b/c it's 90* in the house today?   2nd question:  black shirt, white paint, if i paint over the white text with black, how noticeable will that be?  could i then re-do the text on a cooler day?
someone, please tell me that this shirt isn't ruined?!?!

arrrrggggggggg..... ....
