I veeerry rarely post projects here, mainly because i veeerry rarely remember/can be bothered to take pictures

But I wanted a visual record of my Textiles GCSE work anyway, so... here goes. Two projects.
The first is my story sack, which is where you pick a book (''ten out of bed'', it's like ten in a bed but not) and then theme a sack... thingy on it. It goes to either a primary school class, or a special school class, i cant remember which it was this year.. I'll probably get marked down for its lack of bright/contrasting colours (for stimulating... stuff), but i was going for more mamas and papas than fisher price

Cubey toy thing (it says ten-out-of-bed on the sides), book and reverse side (touchy-feely stars. Yes, stars are shades of red ¬.¬)

Front! I'm thinking maybe i should have clothed the kid now, but... it's done now, so he'll just have to be cold.

Aaand the second project, which was something christmassy, either christmas themed, or for a present. First i wanted to do an advent calender, then i realised it wasn't long enough 'till the start of december, then i wanted to do a stocking, but i couldnt find stuff to quilt it in my diddy little town. Batting, and tasteful-ish fat quarters being the main problems

So i present to you... coasters. XD *snicker*
It's the criss-cross coasters pattern, from... well, a blog, somewhere in cyberspace! Let me know if it was yours, and i'll credit you. It was easy peasy, and looks complicated enough to impress my textiles teacher
