1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Sand dollars on: August 27, 2012 06:17:38 AM
I have to admit, that I just googled, what sanddollars are, Grin and they look really beautiful. So I'm not sure, if they are too big, but they look like they would do a nice necklace.
As nobody needs 37 sanddollar-necklaces, she could also do some sort of wind chime (she could also add other stuff they found on the beach like shells...if they did Smiley )
Or she could paint them or just write nice quotes or stuff on them and hang them on the wall as a nice wall decoration.
It would be a nice idea to combine the sanddollars somehow with the honeymoon...but I don't find a good solution...maybe if you can glue some pictures of the honeymoon on the inside...but I don't know if it will work.
So I hope, I could help you/her and say her congratulations for marrying from me Smiley
And sorry for all the language mistakes, I really tried, but I'm just too long out of it Sad
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / dragonfly earrings on: April 24, 2012 08:48:03 AM
This was part of a birthday present for a friend. I really like them and they are quite easy and don't take so long
I made a whole bunch of them with different beads and colours for me, not only earrings, but also brooches and braclets

I'm just at the beginning of jewelry making, so what do you think?
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / mushroom pencil case on: March 25, 2012 10:14:02 AM
A very small project for the birthday of a friend I made quite some time ago. It was a very spontanious birthday gift for a friend: I just started a few hours before the party started  Cheesy  Luckily, I've finished it just in time.

It's my first attempt at making a pencil case/bag stuff thing and my first time that I used a zipper. So it can't lay completely flat, still have to practise  Smiley

Was so glad, when she liked it, she is still using it at school. YAY!
Let me know, what you think
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / little princess for my little sweetheart on: March 25, 2012 06:30:07 AM
I made this quite a while ago for the school start of my little neighbour.
It is now on her schoolbag and helps her through school.
She's a big fan of any princess-stuff (like the most 6 year old girls Cheesy) so I decided to make a little princess myself instead of buying some expensive princess-plushies.

I still have problems making faces, but at least I tried  Grin

I'm really proud of the little ballett shoes

I didn't know, how to make the wings and I tried many different ways. Finally I used adhesive film

So what do you think about it? Wink
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: jeans and t-shirt style jewelry??? on: March 24, 2012 05:36:05 AM
That's a really sweet idea. I really like it and I think she will do as well
Thanks a lot!!!! Smiley
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / jeans and t-shirt style jewelry??? on: March 23, 2012 08:30:33 AM
I need your help!!!
It's my best friend's 18th birthday soon and she wished some self-made jewelry.
She's only seen the jewelry I made for another friend, but that is a very ... let's call it extravagant person, so it was no problem to make jewelry for her.
But my best friend is not really a jewelry-wearing person. She prefers jeans and simple t-shirts. So I have no idea what to make for her. Does anyone know some jeans and t-shirt style jewelry I could make?
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Jungle themed stuff on: March 21, 2012 10:08:22 AM
Thanks a lot!
I'm thinking about making finger puppets as jungle animals, I've seen some on Oriental Trading (thanks for the hint  Smiley)
But I also like the picture frame idea. It's not lame at all! Maybe I go outside with them together and collect some nature stuff (like flowers, leaves and all stuff like that) for making their picture frame. I really like that idea!
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: My Little Mummy on: March 20, 2012 09:40:32 AM
Awwww! She's so cute!
What are her arms and legs made from? Also fabric?
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Jungle themed stuff on: March 18, 2012 07:54:43 AM
Hi there,
I need some creativ ideas for jungle themed stuff to craft with 9-14 years old boys and girls.
It's for a kind of summer camp we're organising so it shouldn't cost too much.
Has anyone some ideas?
10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: How to Make a Cozy Bed Warmer on: March 14, 2012 12:51:54 PM
This is sooo cool! I wanted to make something like that for my sister, but I didn't know, what to put inside, cause I only knew them with cherry stones, and I definitely didn't know, where to find some  Cheesy
Have to try this out!
