I received a gorgeous matryoshka hoop from whitterp yesterday I don't have a computer at the moment or I would have posted sooner and emailed everyone hope you guys understand... I absolutely love this hoop! It's so pretty and so thoughtful that you put gnomes on there too! Thank you so much! I can't wait to have my own kitchen to put this in!

Woah I didn't realize it was that lumpy on the shoe wishing I smoothed it better. LOL I guess when you see the glitter it covers it up.  Here's my pic.

I'm glad you like it though I really wish I fixed that for you.

15  Gears & girl Watercolor on paper. in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by WhimsicallyObsessed on: October 14, 2012 08:50:29 AM
Ok so I've been in steampunk mode lately. My daughter who is 4 has been making me listen to Steam Powered Giraffe constantly since she has this huge crush on a guy in the band called the Spine (If you look it up he's the silver dude in the fedora!) Really not that I mind listening to them because they are awesome I just wish I wouldnt have a song of theirs stuck in my head at a constant like literally all times it seems! Their songs have been running through my head for a week straight and really I always had them get stuck in there but now my daughter is on this insane kick! I wake up throughout the night even and I have one in there! This morning when i woke up it was Automatonic Electronic Harmonics and last night when going to bed it was Honeybee. So my daughter decided she's going to be a robot of that style for halloween so i've been trying to tune my gears that way..... ANYWAY - I've been wanting to paint and I love to doodle so i drew this up and then painted it.. The first one that is more vivid but kinda blurry is with flash the other without to try to show the metallics better...  I need to break out my camera and get better ones so please excuse the quality as I took them with my phone!

This is a watercolor painting on paper. I did it with some Metallic Watercolors as well.. I'm a huge fan of metallics. I'm not so happy with the hat or the shading in some areas but if I keep messing with it I will ruin the paper.. >.> I like it well enough for now though ask me again once I've had the chance to look at it more haha. C&C always welcome and appreciated! Thanks for looking!

Awww ((hugs)) I lost my precious dog Lucy in January this year it was very hard.. I almost tried to make her look like that Jack Russell / Beagle mix but I would probably have a hard time letting it go if I did. So I went another dog without reference to any breeds. Now that I have I gotta ask are their tails usually curly? I saw some that are and some that arent but I dont know if that was because of the mood or what the dog was doing.. Its been driving me nuts not knowing what my dog is .. I got her for free in march and she was what they called a beagle then I called them again to ask about shots and they said that it was a retriever so  but her tail is curled over all the way to where it touches the base of it.. So now I am curious if that's what she is mixed with after seeing a few of these dogs with that type of tail. .

This is a bad/no digital photo of Ripple.  She had a very typical Chesapeake tail.  Chesapeakes have some great traits...and some not so great. Wink  But you really captured her face in the clay...  oh and her wings Cheesy

Aw shes cute! I just saw somewhere you can get a DNA analysis for $50 so I might do that someday when I'm not broke because I'm super curious. Anyway than you for sharing your pic!

This is ginger and you can kinda see the curl of her tail it loops back around on itself laying right at the top of the base of her tail. I dont know why it bugs me so much that I dont know... Shes a great dog though Smiley

Oh love the crochet snowflakes with the thread really delicate and pretty! I've been thinking that instead of the dolls like I mentioned I'm going to offer gingerbread men/women (maybe couples) out of clay maybe with bows I'm going to tinker a bit and come up with the design and share with you guys tonight/tomorrow. ^.^ I just wanted to give a second option for those who dont care for the angels.

cute ornaments guys! Smiley I got a few made up now I might do some different ones just playing but I'm thinking about something like this for my ornaments... Opinions anyone? I'm wondering if I should make them all the same thing or each one a different creature... and if I do make them all the same what is everyone's favorite? C&C welcome and appreciated of course ^_^

I like the doggy only i got some glitter on her face where i didnt mean to.. my pictures arent so great :/ here is a side view to show depth of the face on the dog.

Thanks guys! I was pretty proud of my necklace. I made another one actually because I loved it so much. I figured I'd show a couple more pics of the necklace and the plaque since it kinda got shined out where the roses were and that was my first time actually painting roses:)

wowie zowie! Lots of spoilage going on in this swap! What amazing craftsters we have in this round! Love those knitted Finn and Jake bags, the cross stitches, the phone case, fortune cookie jake and finn doll, unicorn shirt and I'm sure so much I'm forgetting to mention I'm sure! (got plenty of pinning to do later Wink )

Well I got my awesome package today from burstofpanties!
This was on the front and made the mail lady crack up even though she doesn't know what adventure time is.

She made me a paper machet D and H for my name (Dee Hull) Marceline and the Scream Queens style

Then she made me this cute little star box with some bonus Jake Earrings inside and 3 big suckers Smiley

She also made me a huge peppermint butler hoop! Cheesy

She sent me some sweet bonus books that are super cool and came wrapped up with a big Finn and Jake pin on the front of it.
