1  Chubby bear/koala creature amigurumi in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by crochet hooker12 on: January 08, 2010 02:08:11 PM
Wow! It's been a long time since I posted here! Anyway, here's my amigurumi:

I made him from Lion Brand Fishermans wool and felt for the face. The design evolved from a doodle I have long-since lost. I wish I had written down the pattern, but alas.

Yay!  Smiley

I made this guy for a friend of my mother's who recently had a baby. He's a pattern of my own design, made from acrylic yarn. Looks like he's got some fuzzy bits I need to pick off of his nose.

For my birthday I got a Wacom Bamboo tablet and I love it! This is one of the first things I've completed.

4  Lotus Flower Cuff in Crochet: Completed Projects by crochet hooker12 on: July 07, 2008 03:31:52 PM

I used this adorable pattern: http://crochetme.com/patterns/lotus-flower-cuff

This was so easy and quick. I would definitely make it again. I didn't have to add the extra loops at the end either, because my gauge seemed a little larger and I already have really thin wrists. I used thicker cotton thread, but next time I might go for something a little softer-looking.

5  SEAL ALERT. in Knitting: Completed Projects by crochet hooker12 on: December 20, 2007 10:07:26 PM

I knit this little dude up today on size 4's with some random wool I had around. He's about 5 inches long, from a pattern I created as I went. He would make a nice little stocking stuffer, but I'm so smitten with him that I might just keep him for myself. Heheh.

Thanks guys!

6  Machine embroidery experiment in Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects by crochet hooker12 on: December 22, 2006 06:11:10 PM

The colors are slightly wack on the photo, but you get the general idea. I got the inspiration for this project from http://www.ysolda.me.uk/wordpress/index.php/page/8/.

I'm fairly pleased with this, seeing as it's my first try. The fat guy in the middle turned out a little wonky, though.

7  Re: Ribbed Ear Flap Hat w/ Pom Poms! in Crochet: Completed Projects by crochet hooker12 on: December 13, 2006 06:36:22 PM
Here's the hat!

Please excuse the slightly insane look on my face. It's finals week.

I'm sooo pleased with the results, although I decided to leave off the other two pom poms. Partially because I ran out of yarn, and partially because I like it without them. All my friends want me to make them one for christmas!

Thank you so much, miss joy. This ROCKS.

8  WICKED-awesome baby hat in Knitting: Completed Projects by crochet hooker12 on: July 25, 2006 10:30:17 PM
The name says it all, really. It's made from some yarn I bought in Germany for cheap. It's 80% merino and 20% acryllic and super soft.  A really quick knit on size 8's. I made up the pattern myself, but it's influenced by a bunch of different designs I've seen floating around.

Modeled by a pamelo my friend drew on for me.

Ehh, it's not really my color. Plus I'm extremely blurry.

9  Re: Today I am Capt. Jack Sparrow AND I made a mini dress! (Many Pics and Tutori in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by crochet hooker12 on: July 25, 2006 07:11:32 PM

Theres mine! Sorry about the blurry picture. Great pattern. It was my dad's old large tshirt. I didn't make the ties in the back, I just made it a little more fitted when I sewed it. I want to cover up the nike symbol, so I'm thinking about putting an applique of some sort on there.

10  Ratty crafts? in Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions by crochet hooker12 on: January 18, 2006 06:03:58 PM
I recently (recently as in a month ago) was given another ratty friend! His name is Sebastian and I love him very much.

There I am with him.

I was wondering what kind of ratty crafts were out there. I really want to make him something.  Cheesy
