I just realized I never uploaded my Supernatural Embroidery. HORROR!So Here is a glut of embroideries I did these past few months. woo!

Anti - possession symbol. Do you think hunters embroider it into their clothes? they should....

Men of Letters symbol, also known as the aquarian star

And here's some various quotes from Cas on Flower fabric. Cheesy

It was fun practicing new stitches!
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / "Fear No Evil"-The Colt on: March 06, 2013 08:10:17 AM
Sooooooo... I'm officially obsessed with Supernatural.
It's official when I've taken a week of my life to embroider a firearm....
ah well.

The lettering, while a little hard to read when photographed, looks quite nice in person, and is accented with silver metallic thread.

It will take all my self-control to not immediately begin stitching up the impala....
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Angel in a Trenchcoat on: February 13, 2013 08:55:13 AM
Supernatural is a new obsession of mine, especially Castiel.
and while I'm in the planning stages of a Supernatural Quilt, I thought I'd do some embroidery to pass the time.

I think I will make a Dean Winchester one, so they can hang side by side on my wall. <3

A friend had a zombie themed birthday party, so of course I needed the cookies to go with it!
I used IAmBaker's sugar cookie recipe: http://iambaker.net/christmas-cookies-cookie-recipe which always makes great cookies.  I also used her icing recipe and some melted chocolate to decorate.

Here is the Hoop I made  Burstofpanties for the Good Omens OTT Swap.

I thought it would be cool to have a coat of arms for the four horsemen, and I was really glad the letters came out legible.

4 inch hoop.
7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Toothless & a sappy embroidery on: January 01, 2012 07:02:01 PM
So Christmas was an embroidery Christmas, and here are the last two presents I made.

This embroidery was for my mom and dad, and was aimed to make my mother tear up. (it worked)

From a sketch I drew up and most likely copied from an unknown source that my brain failed to remember

and for my sister's boyfriend we have an embroidery of "a dragon silhouette somewhat reminiscent of Toothless"

Embroidery is now my new favorite friend. Cheesy

10  COOKING / Dessert / TARDIS cookies on: April 03, 2010 02:39:17 PM
So, since tonight kicks off the new season of Dr. Who, I thought I'd make some cookies for our party.

The recipe for both the sugar cookie and the icing were from http://iammommy.typepad.com/i_am_baker/ .

I just printed out a picture of the tardis, and traced out a template on freezer paper before cutting out the cookies.
This is my first time piping icing on sugar cookies... but i think they turned out pretty well (cue Dr. Who theme music)
