1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / babydoll dress (emily temple cute) on: September 16, 2011 11:15:41 AM
I really love the cut of this style of dress. Particularly the first and the picture on the right.

But how do I go about drafting this pattern or are there patterns out there similar to this? I'm actually pretty beginner at drafting my own stuff so I made a quick sketch of what I assume would look like.

I also have this Japanese pattern book and am wondering if I could just follow this and adjust it by having more fabric for the skirt portion.

thanks everyone ^_^ this bunny is like my first completed amigurumi doll. i have made an amigurumi before but it was only the mouse toy from Elisabeth D's book.

originally i just wanted a small ball shape amigurumi pin cushion with a face but i ended up wanting to do more with it when an idea struck me. "hey i want to make a cute bunny!" so i did. i used some techniques i learned from Elisabeth D's book, Amigurumi! Super Happy Crochet Cute with just the pose-able arms, construction of the ears, and the use of blush/eye shadow for the pink areas. everything else i just winged it.

my first completed amigurumi doll Smiley

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / for the horde! (blizzcon '07 keychains -> earrings) on: September 27, 2007 04:00:46 PM
for those who are unfamiliar of the horde and blizzcon, all you need to know is World of Warcraft Tongue

so like my bf and my sister handed me their keychains since they never put them to use and then i thought they'd make cute earrings. so i bought some sterling silver hooks, wire and swarovski crystals and this is how they turned out Smiley

they also glow in the dark and under black light ^_^
